Unarmed security services · Servizi Ausiliari Integrati
Unarmed site guarding in Turin: your site watched by people who know where to look.
Unarmed officers in service attire with company identification markings, for plants, warehouses, company premises and private estates across Northern Italy. They check who comes in and who goes out, inspect the site on scheduled rounds and report every irregularity. Behind them, a management hub that covers every shift and keeps you informed.
Verifiable, not just claimed
We do not publish our clients’ names. It is the first guarantee of confidentiality we offer you.
Where it is needed
Every site has its weak points. That is where guarding starts.
Unarmed site guarding means the physical presence of an officer who knows the site, the authorised people and the client’s procedures. It does not replace your security systems: it completes them with a person’s eyes and judgement.
Clarity first
What our officers do, and what Italian law does not allow them to do.
In Italy, unarmed site guarding is an auxiliary security service: it requires no Prefecture licence and is qualified under the standards UNI 11926:2023, for the service, and UNI 11925:2023, for the officers. That is precisely why its scope is clearly defined, and it is worth knowing before you sign a tender specification.
Included in the service
- Access control for people and vehicles, with a log
- Scheduled inspection rounds of perimeter, gates and premises
- Checks on locks, lights, systems and visible irregularities
- Welcoming visitors, drivers, suppliers and maintenance crews
- Immediate reporting to the site contact and, where necessary, to the police
- A written service report at every shift change
Not included in the service
- Custody of goods when the site is closed, and intrusion services with alarm response
- Carrying weapons and armed protection of people or goods
- Cash-in-transit and escort of valuables
- Searches, bag or body checks, detaining anyone
- Use of force
The activities in the second column are reserved for licensed armed security companies (vigilanza privata), with licensed security officers (guardie giurate), or for the police. If our site survey shows that your site needs them, we will tell you so in writing. A supplier who promises you more exposes you to penalties and litigation.

- Certified. Service compliant with ISO 9001:2015 (Bureau Veritas, Accredia accreditation) and with UNI 11926:2023, the Italian standard for auxiliary security services (ICMQ).
- Recognisable. Service attire and Demetra company identification markings, with no military-style clothing: unarmed officers that nobody can mistake for the police or for licensed armed security officers.
- Checked. Inspectors with a fleet of 15 company cars, carrying out scheduled and unannounced visits.
- Covered. If an officer is absent, our management hub arranges a replacement already trained on your site.
- Compliant. The CCNL HV40 collective agreement applied correctly and full traceability of shifts and attendance: under an Italian service contract, the client’s joint liability (responsabilità solidale) concerns you too.
Far from base
Two years in Sardinia, on a solar farm.
For two years we provided site guarding for a solar farm in Sardinia and, on the same site, a multi-service team of twenty workers who installed the ground-mounted panels. Organising shifts, replacements and inspections hundreds of kilometres from Turin is the most concrete proof of how our management hub works.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between unarmed site guarding and armed security?
In Italy, armed security (vigilanza privata) is provided by licensed security officers (guardie giurate) employed by companies authorised by the Prefect: only they may guard goods when a site is closed, respond to alarms or work armed. Unarmed site guarding is an auxiliary service: presence, access control, inspection and reporting. Demetra is not a vigilanza privata company. These are two different services, and a good tender specification keeps them apart.
Does unarmed site guarding require a licence in Italy?
No, it does not require the Prefecture licence needed for armed security. The service is qualified under UNI 11926:2023 and the officers under UNI 11925:2023. Our service is UNI 11926 certified by ICMQ.
Can you cover nights and public holidays?
Yes, at sites that remain operational: plants, round-the-clock logistics, facilities open 24/7. Guarding a closed site, on the other hand, is reserved for a licensed armed security company: if that is your case, we will tell you at the site survey.
How are your officers dressed?
In plain service attire with clearly visible Demetra company identification markings. No military-style clothing: uniforms are for licensed armed security officers and the police, and nobody should be able to mistake us for them.
Where in Italy do you operate?
Throughout Northern Italy, with operational offices in Turin and Racconigi. We have also run sites far from base, such as the solar farm in Sardinia.
